Domestic and Family Violence Program
Domestic violence is a pattern of behaviors used by one partner in an intimate relationship to maintain power or control over another partner. Family violence is any act committed by one family or household member that is intended to cause harm or threat of harm against another family/household member. Domestic or family violence includes physical, financial, emotional, verbal, religious, and digital abuse.
TMWF recognizes the need for a cross-cultural understanding of issues related to domestic violence and abuse.
Everyone has the right to live free of fear.
