What do you do in your golden years when you are dependent on your loved ones, but they return love with abuse?
In their most vulnerable age, our elderly deserve love and care from their families. Instead, some are met with neglect, abuse, or even abandonment.
After seeing that our elders had nowhere to turn, TMWF decided to address this gap in services and opened The Senior Home in 2022.
We Provide a Safe Haven
Our Senior Program provides permanent housing, trauma care, and other resources to senior women who have been abused and abandoned.
1 in 10 Seniors in the US are affected by elder abuse.
Victims face the difficult choice of either telling someone they are being hurt, or continuing to be abused by someone they care for or depend upon.

Our Senior Program Includes
Requirements
To qualify for our Permanent Senior Housing Program an individual must:
- be 64-79 years old
- be a domestic violence survivor and/or abandoned by their family
- be able to live in an Independent Living facility
