Food 4 Good (formerly known as Break Bread, Bread Borders) economically empowers refugee women and survivors of domestic & family violence through cooking for a living.
Food 4 Good was founded in 2017 and merged with TMWF in 2024. The collective power of these two purpose driven and pioneering organizations creates a catalyst for change that makes a greater impact in the lives of more women.
Catering. Education. Empowerment.
Culinary Workforce Training Program

The workforce training provides economic empowerment to domestic violence survivors, refugees, immigrants and other underserved populations.
The program offers:
- Support for micro-entrepreneurs
- Dignified living wages
- Mentoring from professional chefs, caterers, and culinary consultants
- Job creation in communities
Through our program, the women acquire food handler permits and food manager license certifications for job opportunities in the food service industry.
The professional skills they learn offer them a path forward to bigger and better opportunities.
Catering for a Cause

Food 4 Good is proudly women-led and women-run, a core aspect that strengthens our mission of supporting refugee women and survivors of domestic & family violence.
The programs are tailored to meet the unique challenges they face, providing them with the skills and opportunities to create a better and brighter life.
Food 4 Good's catering services economically empower these women and provide the opportunity for financial independence to support themselves and their families.
